** Essential
Duties & Responsibilities
*** Responsible for handling and moving merchandise around the facility.
* Pack inventory and prepare for shipment. This may include loading pallets, banding the package, shrink wrapping, etc.
* Utilize an RF Scanner on a daily basis to complete orders.
* Verify inventory accuracy.
* The ability to operate a shipping manifest system.
* Transport product via the use of forklifts.
* Compare packing slips and shipping documents to inventory.
* Work in a timely manner to meet production standards established for various finished goods.
* Accuracy and attention to detail throughout daily activities.
* Trains other team members in assigned operations as needed.
* Maintain a clean work area to meet safety regulations of the facility.
* Work in a team environment to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.
* Assure compliance to all safety, environmental and health standards, procedures, and practices
* Other duties, as directed.*
* * Guaranteed wage progression every 3 months, for the first two years! *****
* * Shift Premium of $1.50/hr for 2nd shifts
* ***** MATHEMATICAL
SKILLS:
** Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate simple percentages. Be able to add and subtract decimal values.
** Requirements
* ** Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
* Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
* Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and push or pull parts or containers frequently.
* Ability to read and understand job instructions.
* Must be able to operate a forklift. Training is provided to obtain certification.
* Pass pre-employment background check, essential functions assessment, and drug screen.
* High school diploma or GED required.
