Senior Product Manager – Data Visualization and App Building

Join the MATLAB Product Management team and lead the future direction of MATLAB, the programming platform used by over 5 million engineers and scientists. As the product management lead for Graphics (Data Visualization) and App Building workflows, you will partner with the MATLAB Development team to understand key requirements and define product features, outline short- and long-term roadmaps for MATLAB as a whole and for each of its key feature areas.

• Translate company goals into actionable marketing strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Lead annual and long‑term planning, resource prioritization, and KPI development.
• Guide product roadmaps to align with marketing direction and market trends.
• Collaborate with leaders to build comprehensive plans for the data visualization and app markets.
• Identify risks and recommend adjustments to meet strategic goals.
• Use analytics to inform strategy, forecast scenarios, and define KPIs to measure strategic impact.
• Track market shifts, competitor actions, and emerging technologies.
• Present compelling stories to motivate business‑critical market and customer opportunities.

• Demonstrated experience in long‑term planning and competitive analysis.
• Proven expertise in market analysis, data analytics, and business modeling.
• Ability to solve unique and complex problems that directly impact the business.
• Strong cross‑functional leadership and influence over stakeholders at various levels.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills.
• Expertise with MATLAB.
• A bachelor’s degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master’s degree and 3 years of experience, or a Ph.D. or equivalent experience) are required.
