School Crossing Guards role at Town of Natick — Immediate openings for the 2025–2026 school year. The Town is seeking dependable and community-minded individuals to serve as Crossing Guards for the upcoming school year. This vital role helps ensure the safety of school children and other pedestrians during school arrival and dismissal times. As a Crossing Guard, you will assist students and their families in safely crossing streets near school zones by managing pedestrian and vehicle interactions with authority and care.
This is a part-time role that provides meaningful community impact.

Key Responsibilities- Monitor pedestrian and vehicular activity at designated crossing locations.
- Safely stop traffic to allow pedestrians, especially school children, to cross the street.
- Remain alert and observant of surroundings to ensure the safety of all pedestrians.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, typically one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon when school is in session.
- Willing to adjust schedule on early-release (half) days, with mid-day coverage required.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Enjoy interacting with children, families, and members of the community.

Follows the public-school calendar; no work during school vacations or summer break. - Starting Hourly Rate: $20.00.
