KBW Financial has partnered with a well-established organization based in Middlesex County, MA that is actively looking to add a Controller to their team. The Controller will report to the Corporate Controller and assist with financial reporting, operational accounting, and technology/process optimization.

• Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, promoting professional growth and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Oversee the month‑end close process, ensuring accurate, timely, and consolidated financial reporting.
• Design and implement scalable financial models to support recurring reporting, forecasting, and strategic decision‑making.
• Collaborate across departments to analyze financial and non‑financial data, providing insights to guide business strategy.
• Drive enhancements to financial reporting processes, maintaining alignment with business priorities and internal controls.
• Support complex accounting issues, including business transactions and updates to accounting standards.
• Partner with teams to analyze and implement process changes for term and SaaS offerings.
• Manage accounts payable operations, optimizing efficiency while upholding controls and mitigating risk.
• Work with the Financial Systems Team to identify and implement workflow improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Champion new software solutions and integrations to enhance reporting capabilities and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Lead financial planning processes, aligning forecasts and budgets with organizational goals.
• Develop dynamic financial models to assess the impact of strategic decisions on the company’s financial outlook throughout the year.
