We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Outside Sales Representative to join our growing marketing solutions company. This role is outside sales, focused on visiting local businesses, meeting with owners, and building lasting customer relationships. If you enjoy being out in the field, talking to people, and driving new business growth, this is an excellent opportunity.
Position OverviewAs an Outside Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to identify new business opportunities, meet with business owners face-to-face, present solutions, and close deals. You will be in the field 2–3 days per week, visiting businesses, prospecting, and conducting sales appointments. The remaining time is dedicated to quoting, follow-ups, administrative work, and preparing for your next round of outreach.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and identify new business opportunities within a defined territory.
- Visit businesses 2–3 days per week to meet with owners, deliver presentations, and build relationships.
- Initiate outbound contact, set appointments, and conduct in-person sales meetings.
- Present quotes and custom marketing solutions based on client needs.
- Close new business and develop long-term customer relationships.
- Perform follow-up communication via phone and email to advance opportunities.
- Allocate 8+ hours per week to administrative tasks (quoting, updating accounts, CRM notes).
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity documentation.
- Minimum 1 year of successful outside sales or B2B prospecting experience (industry experience is a plus, not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking with business owners.
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven to exceed goals in a quota-based environment.
- Ability to spend 2–3 days per week in the field conducting visits and appointments.
