Maintains major electrical equipment and systems. Facilitates repairs, replacement and upgrades to all electrical systems to ensure a safe and functional facility.

• Inspect, install, repair, and replace all components of the electrical distribution systems under general direction.
• Install new system components, electrical panel boards, switch gear, ATSs, generators, paralleling gear.
• Assist Director in planning for expansion/renovation projects and forecasting operating budget and capital needs.
• Perform maintenance, service, repair, testing, inspection and installation of electrical systems and components.
• Maintain inventory parts and supplies.
• Provide assistance to other maintenance personnel in performing repair and service functions.
• Perform other related duties consistent with minimum level of preparation and training required and department demands/needs.

• Education
  High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of trade or vocational school in related field preferred.
• Experience
  3 years of progressive experience with an electrical contractor or construction company or experience in a commercial or hospital service environment.
• Certifications
  Journey electrician license.
