The NDT 2 Technician at Standard Ship Repair is responsible for performing Visual Testing (VT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) in an ISO 9001 environment. They must be familiar with OSHA requirements for safety and hot work onboard naval vessels.
Responsibilities include conducting evaluations for acceptance or rejection, documenting results, and coordinating with NDT Supervisor. A HS diploma and CA driver’s license are required.
