As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol Driver in National City, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. This is a Part-Time Security Officer role that allows you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. At Allied Universal, you will be part of a team that values integrity, innovation, and putting people first.

Job Schedule: Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM;
Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professional conduct at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the location.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential disturbances and/or unwanted activity in the retail or mall environment.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and client staff to address security-related concerns and support a positive experience for all patrons.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
