Responsibilities

• Design and implement unit and lesson plans in collaboration with administration.
• Motivate students to realize high academic and behavioral standards.
• Providing strong instructional and classroom management skills.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience in Biology, Earth Science, Chemistry, and/or Physics and Connecticut certified in one or more of these areas.
• New teachers, working on their certificates too may be considered.
• Outstanding academic achievement and student character development.
• Mastery of and enthusiasm for subject matter.
• Team player: maturity, humility, strong work ethic, follow-through, sense of humor, willingness to respond positively to feedback and a "roll-up-my-sleeves" attitude.
