Full time, day shift, every other weekend, therapeutic recreation degree desired, long term care experience preferred.

• Lead and participate in activities like games, crafts, exercise sessions, and other group programs.
• Provide one-on-one activities or modifications as needed based on individual resident assessments and care plans.
• Assist with activity planning and scheduling.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff about activities and programs.

• Therapeutic Recreation Degree (TRD) preferred but not required.
• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
• Ability to lead group programs.
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the public.
• Knowledge of elderly illness and/or disability.
