Job Description

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Store Stock Associate to join our rapidly growing team of Auto Parts professionals. This is an ideal position for someone who is detail-oriented with a strong work ethic. As a Store Stock Associate, you will have various duties to help control and maintain the inventory in our warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Pull all orders for the dispatcher, regarding parts to be delivered by our drivers to wholesale customers. Also pulls for the demands of the main counter retail/wholesale customers and will-call, as accurately and completely as possible, routing products appropriately, and meeting management's prescribed time frames.
• Clean up and dispose of boxes, packing material, and pallets, as well as general housekeeping of the facility and specific product line areas. Follow and adhere to all safety rules, including handling hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of previous experience stocking, loading, or pulling.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to understand and recognize part numbers and line codes for proper identification of parts, including accurately identifying sequences of numbers and letters.
• Ability to write legibly.
• Basic understanding and capability to operate a computer terminal.
• Perform duties as assigned by management.
• Capability to lift and move parts weighing up to 60 pounds and push/pull 300 pounds using appropriate equipment.
• Ability to move heavy equipment with moving aids like hand trucks, dollies, motorized carts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Ability to repeatedly bend or stoop to ground level shelves and reach upper shelves (up to 8 feet) with a stool or ladder when necessary.
• Ability to work on their feet (stand or walk) for assigned shifts.
