CT Inside Commercial Sales Representative, you will be an integral part of our mission to provide our commercial customer base with technology and communications solutions to include the Motorola ecosystem, which brings together unified voice, data, video and analytics into one solution. Motorola is the world leader in public safety communications and Norcom

CT is the premier Motorola partner in New England. You will be part of a top performing sales and customer support team that is responsible for creating an exceptional client experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position is responsible for responding to client sales and support inquiries, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, soliciting and processing orders, creating quotations and developing accounts.

Interaction with clients will primarily be via email and phone; some onsite client meetings will be required. The position is staffed at our Naugatuck location, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, and may require occasional travel to area trade shows and training.

Compensation

Compensation
$23.00 to $30.00 per hour (plus profit sharing, bonuses and incentives)
Pay rate based on applicant’s skills, experience, training/education, certifications and licenses.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain proactive and responsive relationships with existing clients
  • Directly support, manage and develop accounts assigned to you
  • Assist other Sales Team members with account management as required
  • Prepare equipment lists, quotations, proposals and other sales documents
  • Provide and assist with general customer service support including: answering inbound calls, and creating customer support cases
  • Prospect potential new clients to initiate sales leads
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals
  • Communicate the status of leads, sales plan progress and competitive activity, including accurate and timely forecasting to Norcom management
  • Coordinate, prepare and conduct product and solution demonstrations
  • Understand clients’ business practices and needs and provide solutions to increase organizational efficiency and enhance communications
  • Understand and interpret technical concepts and documents related to our industry, clients and vendors
  • Occasionally attend trade shows, events and conferences
  • Occasionally attend area and national trainings
  • Maintain industry certifications
  • Perform other duties as may be required or requested
Required Qualifications
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a customer service role or inside sales…
