Forklift Operator, Material Handler
- Operate large forklifts to transport heavy drill pipe and related materials across the facility.
- Load and unload trucks in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to all safety and compliance protocols.
- Stage and supply materials to production lines to maintain efficient workflow.
- Perform accurate, real-time inventory and material movement transactions using internal systems and databases.
- Complete daily inspections and basic maintenance of material handling equipment.
- Work independently and manage daily responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Interpret and follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
- Available to work scheduled 12-hour shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
Education & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience operating large forklifts or heavy equipment is preferred.
- Previous experience transporting tubular materials is preferred.
- Experience with smaller forklifts is a plus.
- Prior experience in material handling, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with inventory systems or ERP platforms.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Flexibility to work either day or night, 12-hour shifts as required by operations.
