The Fitter/Welder position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who doesn’t stray away from a challenge.

• This team member will use jigs/holding fixtures to lay out parts according to blueprints, layouts, schematics or work orders, and use welding equipment to join the material.
• Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications and performs minor maintenance to equipment.
• Transfers product using overhead cranes.
• Operates overhead cranes.
• Operates MIG welding equipment.
• Uses basic measuring devices, such as tape measure, and has working knowledge of shop math.
• Performs housekeeping and maintains all required records.
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in MIG welding.
• Overhead crane experience.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math.
• Safely and efficiently perform all essential functions.
