Position Summary:We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our on-site medical team in Navasota, TX. This role is responsible for providing high-quality occupational, urgent care services, and delivering preventive healthcare services in accordance with established clinical guidelines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to patient advocacy while maintaining excellent communication.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments
- Triage workplace injuries and illnesses to determine appropriate on-site treatment or need for off-site medical care
- Determine level of care required and arrange appropriate transportation when off-site treatment is necessary
- Manage care of injured employees in coordination with panel physicians and managed care providers
- Provide urgent care services to employees and eligible spouses
- Prescribe and dispense medications on-site in compliance with state regulations and company protocols
- Educate employees on workplace safety, injury prevention, and general health and wellness topics
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical documentation and reports
- Serve as a patient advocate while representing the company in a courteous and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards of care and company policies
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
- Current CPR and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Occupational or industrial health experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of clinical standards of care
- Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and prepare medical documentation, reports, and correspondence
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Full-Time

- Must be able to reliably commute to Navasota, TX
