The ideal candidate should bring hands‑on experience in managing international affairs in a university—preferably within leading private higher‑education institutions in India or abroad. The role requires exceptional communication, cultural fluency, presentation skills, and a proactive, go‑getter approach to building and sustaining impactful global relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership Development & Management
Strengthen and nurture existing international collaborations, MoUs, and exchange agreements.
Identify, evaluate, and establish new partnerships with universities, research institutes, industry bodies, consulates, and global organizations.
Drive initiatives for student mobility , faculty mobility , twinning programs , dual degree pathways , and foreign internships .
Conduct due diligence, proposal development, and institutional mapping for new partnerships.
2. International Strategy & Outreach
Develop and implement the university’s internationalization strategy aligned with institutional goals.
Represent the university at global forums, conferences, education fairs, embassy events, and strategic meetings.
Stay updated on global higher‑education trends, international accreditation requirements, and best practices in internationalization.
3. Academic & Cultural Exchange Programs
Design, coordinate, and manage student exchange, study abroad, summer schools, and short‑term immersion programs.
Work with academic departments to align curricula, credits, and program outcomes with international partners.
Facilitate inbound delegations, visiting scholars, and cross‑cultural activities.
4. Documentation, Compliance & Reporting
Draft and maintain MoUs, articulation agreements, partnership contracts, and program documentation.
Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines related to international collaborations (UGC/AICTE/MoE norms where applicable).
Prepare reports, strategic proposals, presentations, and dashboards for leadership and governing bodies.
5. Stakeholder Coordination
Work closely with academic schools, admissions, marketing, placement teams, international offices, embassies, consulates, and industry partners.
Ensure smooth communication and execution of all international activities across departments.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
Master’s degree in International Relations, Education Management, Business Management, Social Sciences, or related fields.
5–10 years of relevant experience handling international affairs in a university, higher‑education institution, or global education ecosystem.
Proven track record of developing and managing global partnerships and mobility programs.
Preferred
Experience working in or collaborating with leading private universities in India or overseas.
Exposure to global academic frameworks, credit transfer systems, and international accreditation processes.
Experience handling MoUs, policy documents, and international program structuring.
