Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled MS SQL Server Administrator to join our team and oversee the
management, maintenance, and optimization of our Microsoft SQL Server databases.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in database administration,
including experience with SQL Server installation, configuration, tuning, and
troubleshooting. As an MS SQL Server Administrator, you will play a critical role in
ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our database infrastructure.
Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server instances and database
systems

• Perform routine database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and
integrity checks

• Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve performance
bo Ilenecks

• Implement and maintain database security policies and access controls

• Configure and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions such as
clustering, mirroring, and Always On Availability Groups

• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including performance
problems, connectivity issues, and data corruption

• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database schema design, SQL
queries, and stored procedures

• Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides

• Stay up-to-date with the latest SQL Server releases, patches, and best practices
Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informa field

• Proven experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Administrator, including installation,
configuration, and administration of SQL Server instances and databases

• Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, optimization, and
troubleshooting techniques

• Experience with database security concepts, including authentication,
authorization, and encryption

• Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery solutions for SQL Server,
such as clustering, mirroring, and Always On Availability Groups

• Proficiency in T-SQL scrip
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA: SQL Server) would be a plus
