Role Summary
The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end activities related to Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), export promotion schemes, customs compliance, and related statutory obligations. This role demands strong knowledge of DGFT procedures, customs regulations, export benefits, SAP operations, and overall EXIM documentation.

Key Responsibilities
1. Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) & DGFT Compliance
Handling application, issuance, monitoring, redemption, and bond cancellation for Advance Authorisation (AA) and EPCG Authorisation.
Coordination with Norms Committee and handling PRC related matters.
Comparison and recommendation of most beneficial export schemes based on monthly/quarterly export-import projections.
2. Export Promotion Schemes & Benefits
Knowledge and execution of Deemed Export provisions including supplies against Invalidation Letters, EOU/SEZ supplies, and claiming relevant benefits.
Ensuring compliance with DGFT and customs notifications.
3. SCOMET & Restricted Items
Managing application and issuance of authorizations for Restricted Items and SCOMET categories.
Ensuring adherence to applicable export control regulations.
4. Customs Provisions & Compliance
Understanding of customs rules related to Drawback (DBK) under Section 74 & 75, and Rule 6 & 7.
Complete knowledge of special brand rate of duty drawback claim.
Awareness of customs processes, bonding, and compliance norms.
5. Documentation & Export Obligation Monitoring
Monitoring export obligations, e-BRCs, and EDPMS.
Ensuring timely closure of export incentive cases and liaising with banks, customs, and DGFT offices.
6. Certifications & Regulatory Registrations
Handling application, amendment, and renewal of IEC, RCMC, and Status Holder Certificates.
Preparation and compliance management for AEO application and renewals.
7. Systems & Tools Expertise
Strong proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to generate MIS reports and present export–import data.
Key Skills & Competencies
In-depth knowledge of FTP 2023, DGFT procedures, and customs provisions.
Strong understanding of export-import documentation and compliance.
Analytical approach for selecting optimal export schemes.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Detail-oriented with strong follow-up abilities.
Qualification & Experience
Graduate/Postgraduate in International Trade, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
4 – 8years of hands-on experience in EXIM operations, DGFT licensing, and customs compliance.
Experience in Export Incentive management preferred.
