Summary Of

The Role

The Apprenticeship Trainee will assist in routine laboratory activities under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in chemical testing, sample preparation, and quality control processes. This role is designed to provide practical exposure to laboratory operations in a chemical plant environment.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Assist in collecting and preparing samples of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Perform basic chemical and physical tests under guidance (e.g., pH, density, moisture).
Support calibration and cleaning of laboratory instruments.
Maintain proper documentation of test results and observations.
Follow safety protocols and ensure proper handling of chemicals.
Learn and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Assist in inventory management of laboratory consumables.
