Equans Data Centers are seeking to appoint a Project Manager – Construction, to support our growing Data Centre business. We are committed to providing cutting edge solutions for our clients Data Centre facilities and are recruiting a Project Manager – Construction to join our innovative team. The Project Manager – Construction will be part of the team responsible for managing the construction aspects of large projects from inception to completion, within set timescales, to high quality standards and within health and safety guidelines.
Whatyou will deliver
- Manage a team to ensure work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety standards. Be an expert and provide guidance and direction to ensure operational excellence.
- Coordinate and control the on-site construction process ensuring the site build progresses in line with plan.
- Support the overall programming and planning of the build.
- Manage groundworks and internal fit out.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients to ensure that contracts are delivered in accordance with project agreements and best practice.
- Attend site meetings, effectively communicate and provide information for Progress Reports.
- Chair and minute the subcontractor meetings.
- Recording and reporting key metrics to team members and management.
- Operational support including review of procedures, best practices and initiatives.

- Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor.
- Proven people management experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Proven technical knowledge of the Construction industry.
- Knowledge and skills to effectively problem solve.
- Be self-motivated, with proven organisational ability and the drive to meet deadlines.
- Customer focused with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Attention to Health and Safety matters.
- Commercially astute.
- Experience in the data centres sector is desirable.
- Degree or equivalent in Construction Management or similar is desirable.
