About the RoleVetro Recruitment is actively seeking motivated, flexible, and committed SEN Teaching Assistants for short-term, long-term, and day-to-day supply roles in primary schools across Neath and Port Talbot. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a variety of welcoming school settings while providing vital, specialist support to pupils with SEN.
Responsibilities- Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support pupils with a range of additional learning needs.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Adapt learning activities to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum.
- Help create a nurturing, inclusive environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged.

Key Requirements- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a school or similar setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider school team.
- A proactive attitude toward inclusive education.
- A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or SEN support (desirable).
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- References covering the last two years.
- The Right to Work in the UK.
