At Teacher Active, we are proud to be working with fantastic primary schools across Neath Port Talbot who are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a full-time basis.

The Role

As a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils in a vibrant primary classroom
Deliver and assist with activities through the medium of Welsh
Provide 1:1 and small group support
Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
Work closely with the class teacher to support pupil progress

‍ What We’re Looking For

Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
Minimum 6 months’ experience working with children (voluntary experience or transferable skills are welcome!)
A caring, patient and proactive attitude
Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
Whether your experience comes from schools, youth work, sports coaching, care work, or voluntary roles – we’d love to hear from you!
