About the Role:

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Doncaster, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), ensuring they have access to a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing 1:1 or small group support to learners, both in and out of the classroom.

* Assisting with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and tailored learning strategies.

* Promoting positive behaviour and engagement among all students.

* Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create a supportive and nurturing learning environment.

* Upholding the school’s policies and procedures to the highest standard, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students at all times.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Holds a L3 Teaching Assistant qualification (level 2 qualifications are also welcomed)

* Has experience working in a secondary school environment.

* Possesses a strong understanding of SEND and experience supporting students with additional needs.

* Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

* Is flexible, adaptable, and able to use their initiative.

* Additional qualifications such as Team Teach or Positive Handling are desirable but not essential.
