At Teacher Active, we’re working closely with a network of primary schools across Carmarthenshire. We’re currently looking for Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in schools across Carmarthen. This may involve 1:1 work with individual pupils or small group interventions, supporting children with a range of needs to help them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

This is where you as a skilled Teaching Assistant come in! For the right person this role will result in a full‑time long‑term placement so availability for full‑time work would be ideal!

• A genuine passion for helping children thrive
• Experience supporting children with ALN – either 1:1 or in small groups
• Understanding of trauma‑informed practice and restorative approaches is a real advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
