Long Term Futures is seeking a compassionate and proactive Gujarati-speaking Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil in a welcoming and inclusive Harrow primary school. This is a dedicated 1:1 role where your ability to communicate fluently in Gujarati will play a key role in helping the pupil access learning and feel confident in the classroom.

Fluency in spoken Gujarati is essential, as the child relies on first-language support to understand instructions, routines and learning expectations.

• Provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day
• Use Gujarati to aid understanding, reassurance and classroom engagement
• Support the pupil in accessing the KS2 curriculum during lessons
• Encourage English language development alongside curriculum learning
• Promote positive learning behaviours and social interaction
• Share regular feedback with staff to ensure strategies remain effective

• Fluent Gujarati speaker (essential)
• Experience supporting primary-aged pupils, ideally KS2
• Calm, patient and confident building strong relationships
• Able to support learning across English and maths
• Reliable and committed to a long-term placement
