A. Annualised hours: 699.6 - 835 (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).

Associate Lecturer Scales 1 - 4, £26,387 - £31,140 per annum, pro rata. Main Grade Scales 1 - UP1, £33,596 - £48,289 per annum, pro rata (for qualified lecturers).

Our ideal applicant will have a teaching qualification (training provided), along with a level 6 qualification (degree or equivalent) in the subject area and have relevant experience. Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English are also required (GCSE or equivalent). With the impact the digital world is having on teaching and learning candidates must be IT literate equivalent to level 4.

The holiday allowance is excellent right from year 1. You have 46 days per year of holiday, and as we close the College for up to 5 days over Christmas, this means up to an additional 5 days of leave. With the 8 days of public/bank holidays on top of this, you could benefit from 59 days of annual leave as a Lecturer.
