School Crossing Patrol Officer; Gnoll

Location:

Gnoll Primary School. Salary: £12.65-£12.85 per hour. Contractual hours: 10 hours basis, full time. Term time only – 2 hours per day (1 hour in the morning, 1 hour in the afternoon).

• The gathering of school pedestrians in preparation for road crossing.
• The control and direction of the pedestrians when gathered.
• The stopping of traffic when necessary.
• Supervision of the pedestrians when crossing.
• The reporting of matters connected with the duties.

• Previous experience working with road safety issues.
• Previous experience working with members of the public – both children and adults.
• No formal qualifications required; full training will be provided.

• Ability to communicate with others.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work to strict times and guidelines.
