Llangatwg Community School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dependable and dedicated temporary support officer to support the school in family engagement, attendance improvement and pastoral support for learners and families. This is a unique role to join our committed and supportive team, and support across several different areas of the school, with three days per week in family engagement, one day per week attendance support and one day per week in pastoral support.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a thriving, inclusive school community serving the Neath and Dulais Valleys.

We are looking for an individual who are passionate about supporting young people and their families, and who possesses the skills, qualities and enthusiasm to enhance holistic support. The successful candidates will become part of a collaborative team of support officers, working with pupils across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Experience of supporting learners and families would be highly advantageous.
