What could your day look like?

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play an important role in helping pupils feel supported, included and ready to learn.

Depending on the school and role, you could be:

Supporting the class teacher with lessons and activities
Working with individual pupils or small groups
Helping pupils stay focused and engaged with their learning
Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom routines
Supporting children to develop their confidence and independence
Providing additional pastoral or practical support
Helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment
