Overview

Building Surveyor - Permanent, Full-Time role available. This is an exciting time for change in Tai Tarian with our vision to provide sustainable homes, develop sustainable communities and drive change for a sustainable planet. A successful Building Surveyor will be integral in helping us to achieve this vision. This role is permanent with a starting salary of £38,656 per annum, rising to £41,777 per annum after key competencies of the role are met.

Criteria for Role

  • Ability to demonstrate current retrofit knowledge and solutions (PAS
    2035)
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in identifying and remediating building defects. In particular, issues around DMC.
  • Educated to degree standard or relevant experience.

About The Role

Some of the duties of a building surveyor include:

  • Advising on technical matters associated with the Tai Tarian property portfolio including technical, environmental, health and safety issues of buildings.
  • Providing comprehensive reports in relation to surveys with clear diagnosis of root cause problems and remedial actions required.
  • Advising on retrofit fabric improvement works, energy efficiency, environmental impact, and sustainable construction.
  • Working towards our aim to achieve carbon neutrality for all properties.
