About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to support our Cargo Vehicle Inspection (CVI) and RTT X‑ray Scanning systems across South West regions.

This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role that involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex detection systems. You will serve as a technical expert and liaison, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and software components.
  • Provide third‑line technical support to site engineers, distributors, and customer representatives.
  • Support defect liability and post‑acceptance phases for mobile and airport cargo equipment.
  • Participate in the installation of static, gantry, and portal systems as part of a project team.
  • Travel nationally and internationally up to 90% of the time, including to challenging environments (with appropriate remuneration).
  • Complete service documentation, engineering change requests, and maintain accurate records in internal databases.
