We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Deputy Team Leader to our well established team at Withybush Creche. The successful candidate will need a recognised Level 3 or above Childcare qualification and experience of childcare in a creche, nursery or school. Supervisory experience in a childcare setting is desirable.

• Supporting the Team Leader and playing a crucial role in the care of all children who use the creche and in delivering that care in accordance with current policies and procedures.
• In the absence of the Team Leader, managing staff allocation to ensure adequate coverage in line with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) ratios and providing direction to staff.
• Supervising staff and children's activities while at the creche and having the flexibility to perform any other duties as required.
• Responsible for maintaining a good level of general education and ensuring compliance with childcare requirements.

Hywel Dda University Health Board plans and provides NHS healthcare services for people living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, and bordering counties.
