We are looking for an experienced User Researcher to join a government digital delivery team. You will plan, conduct, and analyse user research to ensure services are built around real user needs and meet the GDS Service Standard
. Working closely with designers, product teams, and policy colleagues, you will help shape services that are simple, accessible, and effective for all users.
- Active SC Clearance required
- Strong understanding of user-centred design, usability principles, and accessibility standards.
- Experience working with the Design System and delivering services aligned to the GDS Service Standard
. - Ability to choose appropriate research methods and justify decisions.
- Skilled in synthesising complex findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-engagement skills.
- Experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
