Grounds & Biodiversity Assistant - Permanent

Base pay range

Salary: £23,613.00 a year, rising to £25,439.00 per annum.

About

The Role

As a pivotal member of the Neighbourhood Team, you will support the Grounds and Biodiversity Officer in working to achieve operational targets and service standards. Your duties include performing grounds and environmental maintenance tasks, ensuring buildings, land, and homes are professionally maintained to provide a welcoming, safe, hygienic, and homely environment.

About You
  • At least 6 months experience in ground maintenance or a similar industry.
  • Hold a valid CSCS card and have a strong, positive approach to Health and Safety.
  • A keen interest in the environment and biodiversity.
  • Ability and willingness to follow job activities and processes.
  • Deliver high standard of work within deadlines.
  • Resilience in challenging and conflicting situations.
  • Strong team player.

Require a valid driving licence or ability to travel consistently through the borough. You may be required to drive a company vehicle, and all candidates will need to undertake a driving assessment provided by Tai Tarian.
