This company specialises in high‑quality connector systems for demanding industrial environments, serving customers across automation, machinery, energy, and transport sectors. Renowned for technical expertise, customer service excellence, and innovation, they are looking for a dynamic, results‑oriented Sales Engineer to expand their presence in the Southern UK region (from Northampton southwards).
Key Responsibilities- Drive new business development and revenue growth across the Southern UK territory.
- Conduct regular face‑to‑face meetings with OEM customers, industrial distributors, and wholesalers to promote the company’s connector solutions.
- Build, nurture, and maintain long‑term customer relationships, ensuring trust and repeat business.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand market share within target industrial sectors.
- Represent the company at customer sites, trade fairs, and industry events as a brand ambassador.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams in sales support, logistics, and technical departments to ensure an excellent customer experience and on‑time delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM records, tracking all customer interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activity.
- Solid background in industrial wholesale, electrical, or connector sales.
- Proven track record of success in business development and territory growth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all customer levels.
- A self‑motivated, results‑driven individual capable of managing a large and diverse territory.
- Confident working independently in the field while contributing to broader team objectives.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Southern UK region to meet clients and attend industry events.
