Our client is a rapidly expanding and well-funded enterprise cybersecurity startup. They provide critical security solutions for global enterprises that are deploying next-generation digital tools and AI agents eriencing significant momentum, they are now building out their European footprint.
We are partnering with our client to find their "Founding BDR" for the EMEA region. In this pivotal role, you will be their first BDR on the ground in Europe, initially managing a broad pan-EMEA territory (including the UK, Ireland, Nordics, Benelux, and the Middle East). Reporting directly to their Head of European Sales, you will help shape their initial pipeline and processes, with the potential to align with global BDR leadership as the team rapidly scales.
Key Responsibilities- Qualify inbound leads and proactively drive targeted outbound campaigns into large enterprise accounts.
- Engage with senior decision-makers (such as CISOs, Heads of App Sec, and AI leadership teams), particularly within the Technology, Telecommunications, and Financial Services sectors.
- Leverage their modern technology stack seamlessly, including Hub Spot, Zoom Info, Sales Loft, and Linked In Sales Navigator.
- Collaborate closely with AEs and Field Marketing to drive attendance for regional, high-touch prospecting events (such as intimate executive dinners and seminars).
- Confidently represent the company alongside the leadership team. Travel across EMEA will be required to perform booth duty at major industry trade shows.
- You have a unique blend of classic sales skills (relationship-building, calling, deep research) and an "AI-native" mindset. You know how to independently harness AI tools to mine data and execute hyper-personalized outreach at immense scale, and you can confidently demonstrate how you have applied these tools in your past campaigns.
- You are an engaging conversationalist who knows how to capture a prospect's attention immediately and represent a premium brand face-to-face.
- Because you will be the first in this role with no day-to-day micro-management, our client needs a true self-starter and a "grown-up". You likely have a few years of life or professional experience under your belt, ideally having been a founding BDR in another cyber SaaS start up.
- English fluency is required, any additional European main languages is a bonus.
