Night Class 1 ADR Driver - Neath, UK
Temporary Seasonal Contract - 6/8 Months
£18.27 standard. OT after 42.5 or on weekend
42.5 hour guarantee
Additional £20 night bonus per shiift

This is a role suited to drivers who take pride in delivering high standards on every run-especially during peak periods-within a supportive working environment.
Job Responsibilities- Operate a Class 1 vehicle in line with all relevant UK driving and transport regulations.
- Complete ADR-compliant deliveries safely and efficiently, ensuring correct handling of goods.
- Plan and carry out routes to meet delivery schedules, maintaining accurate timing and records.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, reporting defects or issues promptly.
- Ensure load security is compliant and appropriate for the goods being transported.
- Follow company procedures for documentation, including delivery paperwork and ADR-related records.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service while representing the business professionally at all times.
- Adhere strictly to tachograph rules and working time regulations.
- Report incidents, delays, or safety concerns immediately and follow escalation procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
- Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) entitlement - 6 months road driving
- Valid ADR qualification suitable for the goods you will transport.
- Valid Driver CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Up-to-date tacho compliance and strong understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph rules.
- Strong knowledge of ADR safety practices
, including safe handling and awareness of hazards. - Excellent route planning and time-management skills to meet peak demand.
- Good communication skills for liaising with transport teams and customers.
- Ability to complete vehicle checks accurately and report issues without delay.
- Reliable, safety-focused approach with a strong commitment to compliance and best practice.
