Machine Driver

JDR Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for an experienced Machine Driver to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with a well-established business operating within the steel and metal industry.

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am - 5:00pm
• 50 paid hours per week

• £13.00 - £13.50 per hour
• Weekly pay every Friday
• Pay rate dependent on previous experience

You will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery safely and efficiently within a busy yard and production environment. Duties may include loading, unloading, moving materials, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the site.

Candidates should have previous experience operating one or more of the following:

• Telehandler
• Counterbalance or Reach FLT (Forklift Truck)
• Loading shovel
• Other plant or material handling machinery

Relevant licences or certifications are desirable but not essential, we do accept in house experience, if you can demonstrate previous operating experience.

• Previous machine operating experience
• A strong awareness of health and safety
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
