Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Part-Time

Prestige Care Center of Nebraska City is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a PTA who is passionate about helping residents improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct patient care by implementing treatment plans designed to restore function, reduce pain, and promote independence for residents in a skilled nursing setting.

• Carry out physical therapy treatment plans as established by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility training
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
• Communicate effectively with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team
• Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and mobility strategies
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
• Ensure treatment areas are safe, clean, and properly maintained

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Nebraska PTA license in good standing
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred, but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
