The Quality Technician supports all facets of Way Fare’s food safety and quality functions, with a mindset of continuous improvement. This critical role helps to enhance, maintain, and enforce food safety and quality standards through policies and programs including food safety, regulatory, and other third‑party audits, standard operating procedures (SOPs), product inspections, training and onboarding documents.
Qualifications- High School diploma or commensurate experience
- A minimum of 2-3 years hands‑on plant experience in a food manufacturing plant
- Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices
- PCQI certification preferred or must obtain within 6 months (covered by company)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and computer‑based applications.
- Expertise in organization and prioritization, and attention to detail.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (reading and writing in both)
