Underground Utility Locator

Salary: $21.00 per hour.

• Drive a company vehicle from home to job sites in response to routine ticket requests, emergencies, and relocations.
• Use mapping tools and locating equipment to find underground utilities, including electric, gas, telephone, and other communication lines.
• Mark utility locations with paint and flags and communicate relevant information to excavation personnel or authorities.
• Respond to after‑hours emergency call‑outs according to the established rotation schedule.

• Computer skills
• Valid driver's license in the applicable state
• Ability to work overtime when necessary

• Self‑management and timely communication with supervisors and clients

• Drive 50 to 300+ miles daily as required.
• Get in and out of a vehicle 50+ times a day.
• Stand and walk 1+ mile over uneven terrain in all weather conditions.
• Sit and drive for long periods.
• Lift and/or move 50 to 150 pounds.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
