Clerical, Office Administrator/ Coordinator

Assistant Clerk I (Open)
Butler County Courthouse, David City, NE.
Base Pay Range$40,169.98 – $40,169.98 per year (base)
Responsibilities- Schedule court hearings and related meetings; coordinate with attorneys, other agencies, and court staff.
- Enter new case filings, update existing records, and maintain accurate docket information.
- Process and record cashiering duties, including payments of fines and fees and balancing daily deposits.
- Provide receptionist services: answer inquiries from the public and employees, transmit messages, and offer information on court operations.
- Prepare and submit routine documents, reports, and routine paperwork for assigned areas.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level as required by the department.
Minimum qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties.
All educational credits from an accredited institution approved by the U.S. Department of Education.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Customer service principles; knowledge of state and federal laws; knowledge of judicial, jail, and court systems.
- Cashiering, processing payments, and reading bank statements.
- Filing and record‑keeping principles; modern office procedures, methods, and equipment.
- Computer skills and related software applications.
- Strong written and oral communication, proper English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Interpersonal skills for interacting with coworkers, supervisors, and the general public.
- Ability to assemble and organize data and information and to prepare reports and forms.
