This is an opportunity for an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations and make a lasting impact on critical civic infrastructure.
The RoleAs the Construction Superintendent, you’ll serve as the on-site leader for field operations - managing crews, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that all construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll play a central role in schedule execution, team leadership, and quality assurance. This is a hands‑on position ideal for someone who thrives in the field and is passionate about delivering technically complex projects that benefit local communities.
Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day site operations for municipal and industrial construction projects
- Supervise field crews, assign tasks, and sequence work to maximize productivity
- Coordinate activities between trades, subcontractors, engineers, and project managers
- Maintain accurate daily reports, including logs, labor tracking, SWPPP, and safety records
- Enforce jobsite safety policies and mentor junior team members on best practices
- Oversee materials deliveries and proactively manage scheduling to avoid delays
- Uphold quality standards and act as the company’s representative on‑site
- 10+ years of supervisory experience in construction, ideally within municipal or water‑related infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of jobsite coordination, industrial construction methods, and safety procedures
- Proven ability to lead diverse field teams and deliver high‑quality work under pressure
- Solid communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving approach
- Strong documentation habits and familiarity with safety and compliance reporting
- Crane Operator Certification or willingness to obtain (preferred)
$85,000 – $120,000 per year competitive salary, dependent on experience
LocationField‑based role across municipal and industrial project sites; regional travel required
