We are seeking a skilled General Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment at a healthcare facility in Nebraska, located near Genoa. Position Type:
Locum Tenens - General Surgeon Setting:
Acute Care inpatient/outpatient hospital;
Level III Trauma Center Responsibilities:
Provide 24/7 acute surgery and trauma surgery coverage Conduct daily rounds on all patients admitted to the general surgery and trauma services Manage consults and respond to patient needs as they arise Perform basic general surgery procedures and provide trauma care Requirements:
Licensing:
Active Nebraska Medical License or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand) Certification:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Certification

Experience:

Completion of a General Surgery Residency;
Clean background and malpractice history

Additional Requirements:

Ability to provide a case log of at least 100 surgeries in the past 12 months, showcasing experience with a variety of cases

Schedule:

On-Call Coverage: 24-hour shifts, including weekend availability Holiday On-Call Rate:
