Walthill Public School is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Elementary Classroom Teacher to join our team! As we prepare to open a brand-new, state-of-the-art campus in Fall 2028, this is a wonderful opportunity to help shape the educational experience of our youngest learners. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment that fosters academic growth, cultural pride, and social-emotional development for students from kindergarten through 5th grade.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in all core subject areas (reading, writing, math, science, social studies).
• Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that supports social‑emotional growth and cultural awareness.
• Assess student learning regularly and use data to inform instructional decisions and individualized support.
• Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to support student success and well‑being.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive discipline and restorative practices.
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
