K-12 Music Teacher

Guardian Angels Central Catholic School is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic applicant for a K-12 Music Teacher for the upcoming school year. The teacher will work daily in a supportive, Catholic, faith-filled teaching environment to inspire students and foster a lifelong love of music.

Duties and

Responsibilities include:

• Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of best instructional practices in the field of Music (vocal and instrumental).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to teach general music to K-6 students and band/choir to 7-12 students.
• Plan and direct student performances (concerts, Mass music, programs, etc.).
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment with strong classroom management skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student success.
• Exhibit excellent attendance, communication, and organizational skills.

Education and Experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field (Master’s preferred, but not required).
• Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain).
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
