Overview
DISPATCHER. City of McCook is accepting applications for a 911-Dispatcher for the McCook Police Department. Applicants should possess good written and oral communication skills, type at least 40 WPM, and be organized and able to handle multi-task work.
Responsibilities- Pass a written exam, pre-employment drug screening, and criminal history check.
- Perform shift work as required.
- Typing speed: 40 wpm (minimum).
- Computer experience helpful.
- Certified Nebraska State Teletype Operator preferred (but not necessary).
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent medical, dental, and life insurance.
