Location: Hyannis, MA 02601

• Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations using ultrasound equipment.
• Obtain and record patient history and clinical data relevant to the ultrasound examination being performed.
• Evaluate the images for technical quality, ensuring proper identification is recorded.
• Analyze sonograms, synthesizing information and medical history to facilitate diagnostic interpretation.
• Communicate findings to the appropriate healthcare provider.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety standards.
• Assist with the daily operations of the ultrasound department, including scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or registry eligible.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Proficient in performing diagnostic evaluations using sonography equipment.
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret sonograms.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare providers.
• Ability to maintain aseptic technique during procedures.
• Willingness to stay updated on advancements in the field through continuing education.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
