AS A PHLEBOTOMIST, you will be responsible for performing and collecting phlebotomy samples of all types except arterial on in-patients and out-patients.

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Prior experience working in the medical setting, preferred.
• Must have taken a certified phlebotomy course – must attain ASCP certification within 2 years of being hired to role (or completion of a practice nursing program).
• Ability to work independently.
• Computer skills.

Please note:

If you hold a certificate that does not expire, you must be a member with either ASCP or AMT. If you are on a maintenance program with an expiration – you are not required to be a member but must maintain your certification.
