Right at Home of Norfolk, Nebraska is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and empathetic individual who enjoys improving the quality of life for others. Main duties may include meal preparation, light duty chores, laundry assistance, and help with activities of daily living as needed. The largest responsibility of this job is to provide companionship and great company during these trying times. This position requires strong communication skills and reliability.

During this time we will be conducting virtual interviews and trainings from the safety of your home via Facetime, Zoom, and Skype with very quick turnaround times.

• Provide companionship for the client, accompanying them to appointments, walks, trips to social/recreational activities, and assisting with hobbies.
• Light housekeeping – vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions; may shop for groceries.
• Supervise safety for all activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, transfers, and ambulation.

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and valid automobile insurance
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to demonstrate an excellent work ethic
